It’s right around the corner! Chariot is once again participating in Amplify Austin Day - the biggest day of giving in Central Texas. People from across our community will come together to support hundreds of local nonprofits for 24 hours, starting at 6 PM on March 1 and continuing through 6 PM on March 2.
Last year, Chariot’s generous supporters contributed $14,000 to help fuel our ability to get our non-driving senior citizens where they need to go!
Your challenge, should you accept it, is to help us exceed that amount!
This year, we are challenging you to help us put your donations into high gear. To be on track for success, Chariot’s volunteer Board of Directors has created a Matching Gift Fund.
Donations made through Chariot’s contribution page on AmplifyATX.org
between now and March 2 at 6 PM will be matched by our Board!
How can you help? Make a donation to Chariot at AmplifyATX.org and then share the news with all of your friends, family members, coworkers, and neighbors. Amplify Austin Day is all about collective community giving. Every gift will steer us one mile closer to reaching this year’s big goal and help make a huge impact on the lives of our older adults. Please support our efforts today!
Thanks to Austin-based musician Jeff Plankenhorn for the use of his song “Love is Love.”
More about Chariot
Chariot, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, enriches lives and communities
by providing transportation and socialization to non-driving seniors,
helping them to age in place. --------------
In 2022, thanks to the generosity of our donors, we had 116 volunteers who drove 337 registered seniors on 7,573 trips for a total of 108,787 miles! --------------
More contributions + more volunteers = more service to our community! --------------
We are so grateful for your support!
Can't spare a dime,
but can share some time?
Chariot can always use the help of volunteer drivers. Give as much or as little time as you are able, and drive on your schedule. Our volunteers are the wheels that turn our services for your senior neighbors. Not only are you providing transportation, but also important socialization. Meet someone new and make a difference!
