Please complete our annual CSCI climate survey for CHMS this year. This only takes 15-20 minutes, and it directly impacts our school’s rating. There is still time to pave the way to the future by purchasing a 4” x 8” red brick engraved with your child’s or family name, which will be placed at the CHMS entrance.
Purchasing a brick is a great way to leave a lasting legacy at CHMS for your child!
$65 of your purchase is tax deductible! Please save or print a copy of your receipt after purchasing.
Your purchase supports the PTO’s ability to provide special events, speakers, technology, and many other initiatives.

$175 for a Business Brick
Inscriptions are limited to 13 characters per line, including spaces between words, with 3 lines per brick. Your inscription will be centered on the brick.
Bricks, ordered on or before February 27, 2023, will be installed before the end of the 2022/23 school year.

Our 2nd PTO general meeting of the 2022-23 year will take place on Tuesday, February 28th at 7pm in the CHMS MRC. We’ll hear from Randy Wooten in the D181 administration about the latest in social media and how it affects our students. We will also vote on allocating PTO funds to complete the living classroom.
A Zoom option will be available and we’ll send it out closer to February 28th.

There’s still time to buy tickets for the Sunday, March 19th Chicago Wolves hockey game against the Manitoba Moose at the Allstate Arena. The puck drops at 3pm. We’ve arranged a special CHMS day where each attendee will receive a free Chicago Wolves hat. The name of our school will appear on the LED boards throughout the game and everyone from CHMS will be seated in the same section.

Please join staff, students and CHMS families Thursday, March 16th from 6:30-8:00 pm in the CHMS school cafeteria for a meal packing event to support Feeding Children Worldwide. FCW is a not-for-profit organization that provides meals and humanitarian aid to children around the world.
During this special community service opportunity, we will help prepare and package meals to support hungry children in the Philippines and Venezuela.
Cost for participation is a $20 donation per individual or $50 for families of 3 or more – this entire donation goes directly to FCW to cover all costs associated with preparing and shipping the meals to areas around the world with children in need.
