Half term children’s activities

FREE HALF TERM And EASTER HOLIDAY FUN

Tickets for our half term and Easter holiday family nature sessions with the Secret Adventurers' Club are available now!

Spring is just around the corner and we can't wait to see all the wonderful changes that come with it.

If you want to spend a morning or afternoon outside playing and exploring in nature this half term, plus have a free snack and drink, you can book your ticket here:

Thursday 16th Feb 10 -12noon, Under 5s

Thursday 16th Feb 1-3pm, all ages

Friday 17th Feb 10-12noon, under 5s

Saturday 17th Feb, 1-3pm, 5s and over

Easter holidays:

Tuesday 11th April, 10-12noon, Under 5s

Tuesday 11th April, 1-3pm, All ages

Wednesday 12th April, 10am-4pm, 8-12 years Drop off Lunch provided
Thursday 13 April, 10am -4pm, 8-12 years Drop off Lunch provided

These brilliant sessions are voted for by Phoenix residents and funded by Phoenix Community Housing.

Donations are always very welcome if you are able to contribute something to our #parkplay appeal to improve the older children's play area and keep these nature days running for all to enjoy.

Healthy Walks
Tuesdays 10.30-11.30am
Join this friendly walking group for a walk to and around Forster Park. Meet 10.30 Goldsmiths Community Centre SE6 1QD or 10.45 at the Longhill Road entrance to the park. Free. All welcome!

Gardening Club
Weekly Volunteer Gardening sessions
Friday mornings, 10.30am-12.30pm.
Meet at the Centenary Sensory Garden (top edge of the playing field). The garden is inclusive for all volunteers and visitors. More info foforstermemorialpark@gmail.com or in the Forster Park Friends Facebook group.

Lewisham Lionhearts U12 and U14 football training
Saturdays 9.30-11.30am
Football training for 10-14 year old boys and girls (school years 5-9), all abilities welcome. www.fclewishamlionhearts.org

Saturdays 10am-12noon and Sundays 10am-12noon
Football club for boys and girls of mixed abilities and ages 3-14, with FA qualified coaching staff.

Cafe
The Frothy Coffee Hut is open at weekends from 9am to 4pm in the Pavilion, serving hot and cold drinks, food and ice creams. Table tennis bats available to borrow. @frothycoffeehut

Toilets
The toilets are open daily over the summer and at weekends in the winter in the Pavilion. A key to the disabled toilet and baby change facilities is available - just ask any of the cafe staff next to the toilets.
