There is a mythical law of nature that the three things we crave most in life - happiness, freedom and peace of mind- are always attained by giving them to someone else.
~ Peyton C March
Our 2023 is well and truly underway and as always we are growing our initiatives that promote caring for kids, choosing eco and doing business better. March is home to International Womens Day andwe are celebrating the young team who lead the work in our space, young Indigenous women forging their career pathways. Through our Each One, Teach One mentoring practice we are actively supporting their dreams.
So we invite you, our community, to invest with us in the next generation and grow a Made with Kindness Economy, keeping economic development flowing back to women-led enterprises and celebrating the best in the tropical north, from the Kimberley to the Daintree.
This month we share some of what's new and bringing joy to our team. As always we welcome you to connect with us, e: karina@starwin.com.au With kindness, Karina, for team Starwin
Caring for kids at home? Follow our facebook page ~ especially on Tuesdays you will find our #careforkids posts. Be encouraged by one-of-a-kindness ideas to help create a love for learning with the little ones in your life. You can help us learn & grow too! We welcome your ideas, input and we love photos being sent to us of little ones engaging with our gifts! You can message them to us or e: karina@starwin.com.au if you are happy for us to share.
We also invite you to discover more about Infant Massage for Ebonie, an enterprise founded by one of our young team members. Kreative Karina Art has designed this engaging logo and we have workshops coming up at our Darwin space in March, so check it out and book in!

Introducing you to a new online studio space, a place where you can learn more about Jedess Hudson and what she is creating.

Supporting her to apply for the Australia Council for the Arts, Jedess was successfully announced as one of the first recipients of its new Flourish fund for First Nations fashion and textile design in July 2022.
In addition, Starwin has also worked with Jedess to assist her to grow a new product range of eco gifts.
