Unsafe Software: Wave Browser
A new browser has been showing up on people’s computers. But many are pointing out the security risks.
Wave Browser is an internet browser like Google Chrome, Firefox, Opera, or Safari. Unlike the other major browsers, Wave poses a number of security risks to those that use it. Wave is considered to be a “browser hijacker” where private information can be tracked and the risk of viruses infecting your computer is higher. If you notice Wave Browser has been installed on your computer, it is best to stop using it, uninstall it from your computer, and remove any browser extensions it may have added to your regular web browser. Cybernews.com has a helpful guide for completely removing the software from your computer.
For any assistance with Wave Browser, or other tech issues, stop by Tech Tuesday from 10 am to 12 pm in the lobby, or get in touch at 847-725-2161.

Design a simple one-color decal that you can cut out and stick on your window, laptop, or iron onto a t-shirt using Inkscape and the Cricut cutting plotters.
Design and cut a vinyl screen printing template so you can permanently ink custom t-shirts or tote bags by the dozen. Bring a clean, blank t-shirt in your choice of size, cut, and color.
If 2D illustration isn’t your cup of tea, try something easier to start: bring in a clean, blank t-shirt and a photo, print it on iron-on paper, and adhere it to a t-shirt.
