Mindset Check-In

I love reading, and lots of times when I am reading I will look for thoughtful journal prompts. The other day while reading Dare to Lead, I came across a great section that got me thinking.

The author, Brene Brown, discussed her opinions and thoughts about perfectionism and how it is actually an unhealthy trait to have and often stems from trauma.

I used to think that being a perfectionist was a positive trait in myself and others, because it meant we liked to focus on fine details and finishing the project correctly.

Well that positive trait is just being detailed oriented.

As I read on about how perfectionism actually sets us up for negative self-views and leads us to feelings such as not being good enough and feeling like a failure, I realized that I wanted to share this with you.

We are currently working on our goal setting in our Spiritual Warriors membership group, and the important thing that achieves goals is mindset.

If we set ourselves up for failure with impossible mindsets, we will get discouraged and not achieve the goals we are trying to attain.

Treat yourself with grace and allow the mistakes to happen and learn from the lessons so that you may fine tune and achieve what you want and more than you though possible.

How are you doing on your mindset? Are you dreaming big enough? Are you your biggest cheerleader? Do you need support?

Our membership group works hard and we would love to welcome you to the group.

Check us out and all of our other services and check-in and let me know how you are doing!

Much Love

Sandi
