The Board of ArtSpace Maynard announces the hiring of Suchitra (Suchi) Mumford as Executive Director. A seasoned entrepreneur, artist, and arts administrator, Mumford joins ArtSpace Maynard at a challenging yet exciting period of change. She has started two businesses including the successful Indigo Fire pottery studio in Belmont, and recently served as Office Manager for the New Art Center in Newton, where she also taught pottery.
Gail Erwin, President of the Board of Directors, says, “We are delighted to have Suchi join the staff of ArtSpace. Her background and experience are precisely what we need. In the short time she has been with us, she has already made a difference. We look forward to working with her.”
