We are very excited to confirm under our Top of The South regions of Nelson, Tasman and Marlborough, services will be extending to include the West Coast.
We are thrilled to offer support to those in need on the West Coast. This is achievable thanks to the Lottery Grants Discretionary Fund that we were successful in securing. Lottery acknowledged the need for our services to reach a little further and be available for anyone in need on the West Coast.
Groups will continue to be peer-led in Westport and at the Kumara Junction. Eileen Varley our Liaison Officer will aim to have Bi-Monthly visits to the coast. This will primarily be for one on one client visits, however, as for all of the Top of The South regions, if you are in need of any support, information or education around brain injury please call
(03) 546 6656 or email Eileen on nelson@brain-injury.org.nz
Make sure you jump on and join our Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/BrainInjuryTopOfTheSouth

MARCH 2023
BRAIN INJURY AWARENESS MONTH
This year we are aiming to raise funds and awareness for Brain Injury out in our community. We are lucky to have the support from three schools in the region: Tahunanui, Clifton Terrace and Ranzau Schools will be holding "wheels days, mufti days and sausage sizzles to help us raise funds and keep our services open and free for all throughout March. If you know of a school in your area that would be willing to get invovled to help raise awareness about brain health and injury prevention, please check with the school first, then let Emma know and she can send out more information.
We will be raising funds through a raffle thanks so some amazing donations from businesses who are happy to support us. More info to come on the raffle and ticket prices.
We also have posters available if you would like to put these up in your area during the month of March. Contact Emma and she can post some to you.
We have a Givealittle Page up and running for March Awareness - check it out on the link below and share with your friends and family.
Donations can be made online or simply use the QR code in below poster to make a quick donation. Every little bit helps.
Get your creativeness flowing and design a T shirt for Brain Injury Awareness Month.
We will have our fantastic purple gazebo up and running a stall at the below event: Multicultural Festival 2023.
We are on the hunt for any volunteers/members to help staff run our information stall between 11am - 4pm. If you could spare an hour to help - please let Emma know
