WARNING: This newsletter may be disturbing because it’s true.
Dear Warrior:
118. Maybe it’s just a number. Or maybe it means more. The number 118 has many different meanings. One meaning is that you need to focus more on the good things in life and let go of all the past hurts and wounds. One should not let any negative emotions in your body because if you focus more on the bad, you will attract that in your life. How can one do this? Just be grateful and appreciate every little thing. Eating every day, a roof over your head, good health and even breathing and the opportunity to be alive. Know that you have all the tools inside of you to become successful and attract all the events and people that will help you become the best version of yourself
Let’s Learn More
Some call the number 118 the Angel Number. Many people like to look to or find advice from supernatural beings like angels. The definition of an angel is a spiritual being or a person of exemplary conduct or virtue. One known to offer guidance and support to human beings. They come into someone’s life to help them overcome a roadblock. They encourage you to keep going. They tell us that we are on the right path and to keep going no matter what.
Some people look to psychics for guidance. Many of them suggest that the number 118 is a good sign. A strong one that will show us the path to love. It will force us to stop at nothing until we reach our achievements. The combination of the numbers 1-1-8 encourages you to have self-confidence and believe in your abilities. The number comes to remind you that you are the best among the best and you will achieve your goals no matter what. You only need to work hard and be patient. You are a leader and want to show compassion to others.
Reality
Here’s what 118 means to the Warriors.I recently attended a bipartisan Anti-Trafficking Policy Roundtable in the Russell Senate Office Building on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC.It was comprised of leaders doing legislative and advocacy work against human trafficking including Congressional offices, federal agencies, lawmakers, survivors, organizations and NGOs. We convened to discuss the unfinished business from the 117th Congress that ended on January 3, 2023. The goal was meaningful dialogue and collaboration and bringing these human trafficking and exploitation issues to the forefront in the 118th Congress. Discussion and strategy about the reintroduction of previous bills and new bills that Congress must address. We must energize the 118th Congress to take action. Get bills to and over the finish line. Reauthorization for some. We must stress the importance of protecting vulnerable people from all forms of human trafficking. We must push hard on protecting kids. Big Tech accountability. Digital and real-time safety. We have the facts. We know the harms escalating on a daily basis.
There is much work to do. Let’s come back to the meaning of 118 if you believe in such things. It’s a good number. One of hope. Resiliency. Getting things done. The number represents leadership and compassion. Let us all come together no matter what you believe and truly collaborate and show our bipartisan collective efforts. Our rallying call will be to empower the 118th Congress to become Warriors: address, introduce and prioritize legislation that will help end all forms of human slavery once and for all. #118Congress

Have a Family Safety Emergency Plan in Place. “Children who become separated from their loved ones during and following a disaster are at an increased risk of trauma. Coping with anxiety and stress are much more difficult in the absence of those who know the child’s individual needs. Children separated from their parents or legal guardians are more vulnerable to maltreatment, abuse, abduction, and sexual exploitation.” –NCMEC
