AOI Newsletter: Summer 2023

Call for Content

Hello artists,

We are reaching out to ask for your submissions of content for the Summer 2023 Society for Art of Imagination Newsletter.  In this newsletter, we will share information that is of interest to Society members, as well as fans of their art, and fans of high quality imaginative art worldwide. We would love to share what you've been up to!

Before you send your content submission by replying to this email, please carefully read the guidelines below.

The deadline for your submission is May 15, 2023.

We are primarily looking for content that is of interest to all Society members:

·         News from the Society for Art of Imagination.

·         Recent and Upcoming Group Shows that include many members of AOI.
·         Publications that feature various members.

·         Workshops, conferences and courses that could be of interest for members.

·         Other community projects that could be of interest for members.

·         Calls for artists, and other opportunities for members.

In previous newsletters, we did not allow space to highlight personal projects, new paintings or news relating to only one artist.  However, this time we are trying something new.  Such submissions are welcome, if you consider them to be particularly important (such as the publication of a book, a masterpiece recently completed which took many months to create, etc.).  However, please note that only a small number of such submissions will be included in the newsletter, as preference will still be given to items pertaining to all (or numerous) Society members.

·

Please send your information in a format that is easy to work with:

Images should be jpg format, not super huge in size, but large enough that the image can be seen clearly on screen.  72 dpi is fine, as this will not be a print publication.

Text must be in word files or included in an email: We have to be able to copy and paste.

PLEASE NOTE: Try to make sure your content is correct and ready for publication when you send it.  If you have news that should be shared in this newsletter please make sure to send it via this call for content, so it doesn't get missed in the shuffle.

Submissions may need to be changed or rearranged slightly in order to fit into the flow of our newsletter.  If you include a lot of images in your submission, we may not be able to include them all, so please put an emphasis on which images are most important for inclusion in your submission.

If we are taking more than a week to confirm your email submission, please send us another brief message (without attachments)  to make sure we have received it.

Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you!
