Seeking Contributors 

Are you a Ph.D.-level professional passionate about creating more diverse and inclusive workplaces by helping organizations de-bias their hiring processes?

If so, CMA Global is seeking professionals who have expertise in the field of industrial-organizational psychology to collaborate on this important topic. 

Together, we will explore the most effective ways to use assessments to identify and address bias in the hiring process. We will discuss the history of assessments, the difference between testing and assessment, and the proper use of assessments in recruitment and hiring. We will also examine the ongoing cultural issues that can affect an organization's ability to create a truly diverse and inclusive workplace.

Qualifications**

  • Ph.D.-level professional
  • Ideally at least five years of experience using multiple assessment instruments in assessment batteries
  • Have led this work either internally or externally
**You may still be considered even if your qualifications are not a perfect match

Work, Stress, and Health Conference Call for Proposal


The 2023 Work, Stress, and Health Conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Miami, November 8-11, 2023. Work, Stress, and Health is organized biennially by the American Psychological Association, the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, and the Society for Occupational Health Psychology. The Work, Stress, and Health conference is a multi-disciplinary meeting with participants from a wide variety of fields that address worker safety, health, and well-being. This year, the planning team is seeking a DEI focus session; and looking for someone who can present on DEI issues in the field at the conference.

She had her bachelor's degree in Psychology and she's an aspirant in the Industrial and Organizational Psychology field with a research interest in Diversity and Inclusion, Leadership Development, Organizational Culture, Recruitment and Selection Processes, and Gender Equality in the workplace. She's one of the world's leading champions of personal development. She published an inspirational book titled "BE THE BEST YOU CAN BE." The book is full of uplifting and inspirational messages intended to assist youth in rising to their full potential. She will be submitting a proposal to present at the next SIOP Conference 2024 on Gender equality in terms of equal pay and looking forward to an I/O psychology graduate student who may be interested in the research. She looks forward to connecting and discussing the proposal at the SIOP conference in 2023 in Boston.
