Music-Musique NB ajoute une 2e session de formation Projet Soundcheck 

La formation Project Soundcheck est si populaire que la première session est déjà COMPLÈTE! Ne vous inquiétez pas, nous avons ajouté une DEUXIÈME SESSION le 13 mars de 18h à 21h.

Projet Soundcheck est une initiative de prévention qui vise à donner aux festivals, aux lieux de diffusion et aux communautés les compétences et la formation nécessaires pour prévenir et répondre à la violence sexuelle dans les salles de spectacle. En réduisant l'apathie des spectateurs et en formant les professionnels du secteur à intervenir lorsqu'ils sont témoins d'un comportement préjudiciable, nous pouvons favoriser des espaces plus sûrs dans notre industrie musicale.

La formation, présentée par Sexual Violence NB, sera offerte GRATUITEMENT à tout travailleur du secteur de la musique en direct (y compris les artistes et les interprètes, le personnel des salles de spectacle, les organisateurs de festivals, les techniciens de l'audio et de l'éclairage, les agents de sécurité ou toute autre personne qui travaille dans le secteur de la musique).

Music·Musique NB adds another date for the Project Soundcheck training

Project Soundcheck training is so popular, the first session is already FULL. Don't worry, we've added a SECOND SESSION on March 13th from 6-9pm.

Project Soundcheck is a prevention initiative, aimed at giving festivals, venues & communities the skills and training to prevent and respond to sexual violence in live music spaces. By reducing bystander apathy and training industry professionals to intervene when seeing harmful behaviour, we can foster safer spaces in our music industry.

The training, presented by Sexual Violence NB, will be offered FREE to any live music worker (including artists and performers, venue staff, festival organizers, audio/lighting technicians, security guards, or anyone that works in live music settings).

African Heritage Month Activities with Battle of The Arts NB

Chad‘s debut album is entitled ”In The Light”. Every song has been made up of intimate and personal lyrics with a broad haunting musical imagination to capture your attention with multiple lyrical hooks that are relatable to anyone no matter their background or experiences in life. Open Strum is teaming up with One Tree Planted

Open Strum will release a new song in English and a new song in Spanish at the end of January, and anyone who gives the non-profit One Tree Planted a donation will receive the songs before they are released. ⁠ ⁠ The donations need to be made to the non-profit, Open Strum will not accept any funds.⁠⁠ The songs feature Arianny Vicent, Mike Bourgeois, Danny Bourgeois, Invarian and Jean-Pascal Comeau.

FACTOR: First Time Applicants

If you have never applied to FACTOR before, you must first create and submit an Applicant Profile and an Artist Profile to apply to the Artist Development program. After you finish filling out your profiles remember to click on the Request Review button to finalize them. Your profiles will automatically receive a provisional rating which allows you to start your project application right away. You’ll also be assigned a Project Coordinator who will be your FACTOR primary point of contact. For details on profiles and creating applications, see our step-by-step guide below.
