The past month has been busy and there is so much to recap. In terms of racing January was a challenging month. At Stratton, my first norams this season, I didn't finish either of my first runs in the slalom and the GS was cancelled. Norquay GMC cup was a difficult race for me. I put in some solid first runs but I fell on the second run everyday. Read more.

Canada beat the #1 and the #2 seeded countries on its way to a bronze medal in the team parallel at the 2023 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in Courchevel and Méribel, France. Racing for Canada in the team parallel today were Britt Richardson (Canmore, AB), Erik Read (Canmore, AB), Jeffrey Read (Canmore, AB) and Valérie Grenier (St-Isidore, ON). Read more.

Canadian James ‘Jack’ Crawford joins his coach John Kucera as a world champion. Crawford produced the best skiing of his career, winning the Courchevel 2023 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships super-G. Although he had recently struggled to match his early season performances, on February 9th, he rose to the highest level to win in an incredibly talented field. Read more.
