Dear Friends of the King Foundation,
Greetings to our partners and friends. We are grateful for the work you do to help move our communities forward. As we prepare for our Spring funding cycle, we are encouraged by the continued innovation and perseverance shown by those seeking to work with the Foundation. We will be reviewing proposals over the next month and getting back to organizations in mid May. Thank you for your continued commitment to improving our community.

We have made a change in our grant cycle timeline. We have moved from a 12 month cycle, to an 18 month cycle. The major differences are:

The grant report that is due 12 months after funds are issued, will now double as the application for the next, follow-on, grant cycle. The eliminates the need for both a grant report, and an application.
If your organization is approved for the next, follow-on grant cycle, there will be an extension in the time between funds being issued. It will now be approximately 18 months between grants for any organization that is approved for the follow-on cycle.

We would like to highlight one of our recipient or partner organizations in each newsletter, in order to share the great work that you are doing in Colorado, as well as to provide you with useful information.

This month, we would like to introduce you to Community Resource Center, and, specifically to their GrantCorps program.
