WHEN: Fri., March 17, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
WHERE: Center for Ministry, 5802 Weiss St., Saginaw
Don Buchalski, Coordinator of Evangelization for the Diocese of Saginaw, will hold a workshop based on best practices in evangelization which are encouraged in books such as “Divine Renovation,” “Forming Intentional Disciples” and more. These concepts, methods and ways of thinking are being used in (arch)dioceses such as the Archdiocese of Detroit, Diocese of Green Bay and others.
This workshop is ideal for ongoing formation, continuing education and for generating ideas for future program offerings at your parish. This workshop will share helpful, new ways of evangelization for clergy, religious, parish staff, parish leaders, ministry leaders, lay ministers, catechists or anyone exploring parish ministry.
The workshop will build on the current best practices of evangelization in the Catholic church. Participants will get an introduction to the cultural elements of the New Evangelization, the discipleship journey through the stages of win, build, and send, and a pathway to renewal.
The seminar will give participants a framework for successfully navigating the new age of Apostolic Mission and how to successfully build missionary disciples who can confidently help people through the threshold of conversion to become disciples of Jesus Christ.
