Community.
As Americans, we may live in a culture that values the power, success, and ability of the individual. However, regardless of what we have been taught, we were not created to live as individuals, we were created for community. And, truly, we only thrive in community.
For, we are created in the image of God and not even God exists alone. God always has and always will exist in community as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
When Jesus did ministry on earth, Jesus did not live or do ministry as an individual. Jesus called people to follow Him and, together, they did both life and community.
We need each other. You need us and we need you.
This week we will be looking at Acts 2 and Romans 12 to explore what it means for community to be a place of care - a place where our concerns, our responsibilities, and our burdens are not carried alone. And, importantly where the same is true for others.

1. Pray each day for someone in your life who has yet to receive salvation.
2. Pray each day for God's work at Midway.
3. Pray each day that God would show you how to be the light to those around you.

February 22nd. Drop between 7AM-9AM, 11AM-12PM or at 6PM. Ash Wednesday is the official beginning of Lent - a time of deepened prayer, fasting, and focus on our spiritual lives as we approach Easter. Join us for an imposition of ashes as we mark the beginning of this holy season.

Sunday, 2/19 @ 11:15 AM in the Teen Center. Join the women in our community for a time of fellowship and great food after church on Sunday. Ladies of all ages are welcome to join in the fun.
- Yard Sale.
Thursday & Friday 2/23-24 from 8AM-5PM & Saturday 2/25 from 8AM-1PM. Midway will be hosting a Yard Sale to benefit the Bread of Life and Kairos Ministries. Beginning this week, bring the items you wish to donate to the Fellowship Hall. Then, come shop during the sale! Breakfast and Lunch available for purchase.
