Hello, friends! Well I certainly meant to write to you last week. Unfortunately, I came home from my trip with an unexpected souvenir: COVID-19. This was my first go-around with the virus that has been the focus of the last three years. I can't say that I recommend it. Thankfully, the physical effects weren't too bad. I'm still regaining my stamina, and my brain was near-useless for the week I was isolating. The worst part, I think, was the fact that after not seeing my fiancée and kids for a week, I had to not see them for another week. F--, would not recommend.
The good(?) news is that people kept accidentally giving me ideas for blog posts. So if I can find the time to sit down and crank out some words, there will be plenty for you to read.
