Students recognized for success in ALHS College and Career Academies.

Abraham Lincoln High School’s College and Career Academies are positioned to offer students college credit and career experience during their high school years. All college credits earned are a guaranteed transfer to any college or university in Colorado. Currently, more than 200 students are benefiting from Advance Placement and Concurrent Enrollment Courses offered at Lincoln.

Congratulations to our students and families who attended the AP/CE Parent Information & Awards Night hosted by the College and Career Academies. We had a fantastic parent session starring 4 of our own Lancer Scholar Parents who discussed parenting and encouraging students to succeed in rigorous courses.

ALHS Sporter qualified for the Army JROTC National Championship

ALHS Sporter Air Rifle Team qualified for the Army JROTC National Championship in Camp Perry, Ohio.

The team consists of:

Daisy C. 12th grade
Silvia C. 11th grade
Laura G. 10th grade
Juan L. 11th grade
Gabriel L. 9th grade

The team took part in a competition in December and shot scores high enough to qualify for Army Nationals. They will travel to Ohio and take part in an event consisting of Army JROTC teams from the U.S. as well as Army JROTC units from Hawaii and Germany. The team has the potential of earning themselves a spot in the Multi-Service Nationals conducted in February, the top 5 teams in Ohio will advance to the next level (which is the highest level for JROTC Air Rifle competitors).

Southwest Denver Families, Abraham Lincoln High School is offering free computer classes in February. Please call Jossie at 720-423-5038 to Reserve your seat.

Estudiantes reconocidos por el éxito en las academias universitarias y de oficios profesionales de Lincoln.

Las Academias Universitarias y Profesionales de la Escuela Secundaria Abraham Lincoln están posicionadas para ofrecer a los estudiantes créditos universitarios y experiencia profesional durante sus años de escuela secundaria. Todos los créditos universitarios obtenidos son una transferencia garantizada a cualquier colegio o universidad en Colorado. El equipo ALHS Sporter Air Rifle se clasificó para el Campeonato Nacional Army JROTC en Camp Perry, Ohio.

El equipo participó en una competencia en diciembre y obtuvo puntajes lo suficientemente altos como para calificar para los Nacionales del Ejército. Viajarán a Ohio y participarán en un evento compuesto por equipos JROTC del Ejército de EE. UU., así como unidades JROTC del Ejército de Hawái y Alemania.
