The luck of the Irish has brought together a wonderful collection of music for you to enjoy. Acclaimed baritone, Jonathan Lasch, returns to Dearborn to lift your spirits with traditional Irish music. Joined by special guests Mary and Patrick Lynch, this talented family will perform familiar Irish tunes and intimate folk songs. Featuring music by Percy Grainger, Benjamin Britten, Gustav Holst, Leroy Anderson, John Williams and more, this unique St. Patrick’s Day musical celebration is sure to be a night of Craic agus Ceol.

Ballet 5:8, a Chicago-based female and minority-led premiere ballet company is coming to Michigan! Ballet 5:8 will present the world premiere of BareFace at Connection Church in Canton, MI on Saturday, March 11 at 7PM. Led by Artistic Director Julianna Rubio Slager (originally from Spring Arbor), the company creates original and dynamic ballet experiences drawing from life, faith, literature, current events and diverse perspectives to tell relevant and relatable stories of the 21st century. BareFace is a full-length and daring new story ballet reimagining the classic myth of Cupid and Psyche from a distinctively female perspective, ambitiously placing female athlete artists in all leading roles to honor International Women's Day. As one of the only ballets set in a future post-apocalyptic world, BareFace features an impressive set design made of 95% recycled materials, several handmade Grecian and futuristic costumes, a dress spanning the entire stage larger than the costume shop itself and more! BareFace presents a haunting mirror to the human soul as it lays bare the elements of love, jealousy and what it means to be beautiful.
