Do you have clients who have ruled out TMS because of the time commitment? What if they could complete the entire course in ONE WEEK?
I am VERY excited to announce a new Accelerated TMS program. I can now offer your clients an entire TMS course in just one week. I am hopeful that this will remove one of the major barriers to accessing this life-saving depression treatment.
(Standard TMS for treatment resistant depression, OCD, and anxiety will still be available and is still extremely effective!)
Here are some details:
- Research in the last few years has shown that TMS can be safe and effective when delivered in multiple treatments per day. I am offering a new treatment option, where clients can receive up to 10 treatments per day x 5 days and complete the course in a week. Please let me know if you have clients who could be interested. This would be out of pocket.
- Please click here to read more of the clinical data, patient information, and other FAQs.
- Or, complete this form if you would like to refer any patient or discuss their case further.
Other TMS news:
- Cigna is now covering TMS for OCD. No other insurances have yet followed suit but I am hopeful for this to happen this year.
- UHC/Oxford has just significantly loosened their medical necessity criteria for TMS, so I expect a lot more patients to now be eligible.
- Though PTSD is not yet a covered indication, extensive research and clinical experience supports its efficacy. Here is my favorite quote from one of my trauma patients about the mental effect of TMS: "I no longer have to battle, now I can just exist and be present."

One of the best things about TMS (besides its high response rate and minimal side effects), is that it is covered by insurance! I am currently in network or pending with the following panels (for TMS only, not med management):
- Cigna
- United Behavioral Health (includes UHC, Oxford, Optum, Oscar)
- Beacon Health Options (behavioral health for GHI/Emblem)
(I do not intend to join the Anthem/Empire/BCBS network but they have been consistently open to negotiating Single Case Agreements for TMS that allow your patient to be covered as if I were in-network.)
Please feel free to reach out if you want to discuss whether your client could be a good fit for this treatment, or chat about the treatment in general. Hope to connect soon!
