SAINT VALENTINE'S DAY PROPHETIC MESSAGE EXCHANGE
Since our next class is the day before Saint Valentine's Day, we wanted to invite everyone to participate in a PROPHETIC VALENTINE EXCHANGE. Participation is voluntary and really simple: Pray, Ask the Holy Spirit to give you an inspirational word to share that will encourage your classmates to love as the Father loves us, THEN duplicate that message 30 times and bring them to class on Monday. We will distribute them to each person present. If everyone participates, each student should be going home with 30 prophetic messages from the Author of Love Himself to ponder and relfect upon this SAINT VALENTINE'S DAY!

Contrary to modern skepticism, the feast was not instituded to make Hallmark, Chocolate Factories, and Florists rich. Like most feasts the Church institutes formally into its liturgy the intention behind the tradition was to point the world toward an authentic expression of TRUE LOVE. History tells us there were actualy TWO SAINT VALENTINES who lived a few centuries apart from each other, but both saints were inflamed with the love of the Holy Spirit in promoting sacramental marriage in times of intense persecution. Their sacrifice to hold sacred the divine nature of love when the world wanted to pervert and distort it is a valid message still for saints today. This Saint Valentine's Day let us then celebrate their martyrdom by imitating their love of neighbor and stepping out boldly in faith that the prophetic gift of the Holy Spirit will come alive in us and the world will KNOW HIM by our love for one another!

We encourage you to take time to reflect on John 15 and ask the Holy Spirit how he may want you to celebrate this wonderful feast for those He has placed in your sphere of inluence (Hint: that may include the man or women at the drive thru, as well as your co-workers.) If ever there was a day to hand out LOVE NOTES FROM HEAVEN surely this is the day! Come Holy Spirit!

DON'T OVERTHINK THIS!!! There are many free and quick options that don't require any costs other than a printer. REMEMBER, THE KEY IS TO ASK THE HOLY SPIRIT FOR HIS WORDS then type them out and make 30 copies. Life with the Holy Spirit is meant to flow easy. Follow Mary's advice, just "do whatever he tells you." :)
 

 

REMEMBER - OUR FIRST TRANSFORMATION NIGHT OF THE YEAR with Dr. Ralph Martin is NEXT THURSDAY, FEB. 16TH!!!! Now is the time to invite a friend. Consider handing out a flyer with any St. Valentine's notes you give out. You'll be surprised how people respond to a personal invitation. Texting works great also!
