#2 Spring Retreat

Registration is now open for our Spring Retreat (March 31 - April 2nd). Its Beach House on Retreat: Games, Small Groups, Worship, and biblical Teaching at a huge house, outdoor courts, and a mini-water park. It is also an essential part of our two tracks at the Beach House: Confirmation and Leadership. We want students to come back having gone further in authentic relationships with Jesus and each other.

#3 Senior Trip

One of the joys and tasks of youth ministry is finishing well with our graduates. First: Senior Study on Wednesdays with @LydiaEikevik where we’re learning to talk to God as Father and digging into some of the challenges we’ll face in the coming years. Second: Graduate Sunday in May (TBA) where we celebrate our High School and College grads and cover them in prayer. Third this year: Senior Trip (May 18-21) to Atlanta for the Lift Creative Conference put on by Passion City Church. Kindle your fire for Jesus before stepping into the next things!

#4 How to Pray With Us: Family Values

Our current series has been working through John’s first letter to the churches. We’re breaking it apart week-by-week, hearing the Father’s heart for us as people made new in Jesus. We want to learn what our true Family Values are—how a community connected to the Word and the Holy Spirit gets filled with things this world has never truly known: purpose, joy, forgiveness, discernment, costly love.

If you want to pray with and for us, read through 1 John (we’re just entering the third chapter). Pray with us that the Lord continues to add to this community as He prepares the hearts and minds of these students for the joys and trials to come! Many of them may have to take stands for Jesus that most of us never had to consider.
