Super Bowl Sunday - At the Club (February 12th)
Are you looking for something to do Sunday night instead of watching Netflix or Crave? Want some football action in your life? Then come to the Club to watch Super Bowl LVII. We are rolling out the AstroTurf, turning on the Jumbotron to have the game broadcast live in our club this Sunday, February 12th with kick-off at 6:30 (doors open at 5:30).
We will be showing the game on a 100-inch screen using a TV projector. Come have a pint or beverage of your choice and purchase some Nachos or Chicken Wings and enjoy the game.
Not an NFL fan, more CFL or nothing? Who cares! Come out anyway. The perfect excuse to add some excitement to your Sunday. Plus, you can come and catch some curling from our newest Club Members - Learn to Curl Development League. Try to catch a glimpse of the future champions who will be dropping you in future Club match championships. or maybe you need a new member on your Team (sorry no agents will be allowed in that club that night).
So what is stopping you? Mark your calendar, set a reminder on your iPhone and get ready for some excitement this Sunday!
Super Bowl Pool
Thank you to everyone who supported the NFL Super Bowl pool. The squares sold out and the random numbers have been added to the board. Please see the attached picture with your scores. Remember, it is the last digit of the score of each team in each quarter and the final score to check the grid.
For example, if Kansas City is leading Philadelphia 10-4 after the first quarter then you would check under Kansas City where the 0 is located and find the 4 corresponding to the Philadelphia column. The square where they intersect is the winning square. The same procedure for all quarters and the final score. If the game goes to overtime, then the final score will be at the end of overtime.
A donation of $1000.00 was made to the club as a result of this fundraiser.
