Friends and customers, they're finally ready!

I believe that everyone deserves a good knife. 
Some of you know my knifemaking origin story: I was skinning too many raccoons and needed more knives, because I never had a knife of this quality.  I've partnered with White River Knife and Tool out of Michigan so you can have an opportunity I never had: to own a quality knife at a good price.

Now let's talk about the knives themselves. 
The design is my utility hunter, of which I've made a few hundred over the years.  The knife is 7 3/4" long with a 3 1/4" blade. These knives are made in the USA, with US materials. The steel is S35VN stainless, professionally heat treated in Michigan to 59/60 RC. To keep the factory design true to the original, I specified the handle thickness, grind style, edge thickness, and handle contours.  This is as close to my handmade knives as a factory can get.  The finish is a tumbled stonewash. The differences from my customs are different handle fasteners, unlined lanyard hole, a straight tang, and a different mark.  New for this run, the knives will come with a kydex sheath from White River.

While I don't have the "final" inventory, I do know that the colors in the picture above will be available in some quantity.  I also have a limited number of laminate Texas Flag scales, pictured below.  I special ordered these from "Mad Max," Joseph James.  



When you order, you will reserve your place for one of these knives.
When the knives arrive in the next two weeks, I'll contact each person on the reserved list in the order of purchase and let them pick a color from what's available. Colors in the pictures below are representative.  

On my website will be two options.  Standard colors will be $215 and first come first served.  I've ordered an assortment of colors, but when a color runs out, it's out. There's no limit on standard colors, so ordering will stay 'open.'  There will only be 12 of the Texas knives available at $240 each.  I'll set the store up so that when they're out, they're out and will show unavailable.
