Hello SJS Parents,
Last week was a fantastic Catholic schools week and a successful kick off to our enrollment efforts for the coming school year. To date, our enrollment for next school year has already surpassed our current school years enrollment. We have also accepted 93 new students from 41 new families. It is so great to see our SJS family continue to grow!
It is a great day to be a Bulldog!

Closes - Feb. 13
Spring athletics for 5th-8th grade is open now through Feb. 13. Register here today.
Athletics offered:
Coed Track: Fee $75
Practices start around February 27 and season runs to May 1.
Meets are on Saturdays and Sundays. (one per week)
Boys Volleyball: Fee $100
Practices start around February 20 and season runs to May 7
Games are on weeknights.
Girls Softball: Interest
Please email Jerry Klopp at jcklopp@aol.com if your daughter is interested in playing softball.
Fees will be collected once a team is assembled.
Practice will start mid-March and season runs until mid-May.
Games are usually weekdays at 4:00 at Melas Park.

Please don't forget we have a huge photo library on our website under Current Families => Photo Library. We capture so many wonderful things happening at SJS. It is all up to date with basketball season, poms, CSW, ski trip etc. There are lots of 8th grade events coming up in the spring that you won't want to miss. You can download these at any time to personalize your students yearbook!

Corsage Pick Up

Dist. 214 Placement
Make-Up Test
District 214 has planned a PSAT 8/9 makeup for 8th grade students who missed the initial placement testing in the fall. This year, we will offer an official College Board PSAT 8/9 for the PSAT 8/9 makeup. The makeup test information is below:

- 8:00 a.m. – 11:25 a.m.
- Forest View Educational Center, 2121 S. Goebbert Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60005
- Check-in at Door 34.
- Students provide their own transportation.
