Join us for a discussion with Angela D. Brooks, FAICP, first black woman president of the American Planning Association. Angela will be discussing the history of African Americans in APA and the how's and why's the various divisions and interest groups were formed.  She is reflecting how APA is expanding to meet the needs of the communities we serve. She will end the presentation discussing the future of planning and role of students in advancing the discipline.
