Prayer Chaplain Team
Training Dates:
Saturday, March 4th and March 11th
9:30 am – 3:30 pm.
Pre-Registration Required
Installation will be during church service on Sunday, March 19th.
What Is A Unity Prayer Chaplain? How Do They Pray?
They are members of our church. Speaking Affirmative Prayer, they see
the highest and best in any situation, regardless of its outer circumstances.
Prayer Chaplains
Create and hold sacred space, knowing God is greater than…
Listen from the heart
Hold what is heard in the strictest confidence
Maintain a daily prayer practice
How Do Prayer Chaplains Serve?
They pray with congregants desiring prayer after Sunday service
They make monthly calls to active members offering prayers of
support, celebration and blessing
They attend a mandatory annual training workshop and
a monthly, 2-hour meeting for support and fellowship
They commit to one year of service
No prior experience in praying with others is required. However, you must be an active, voting church member, who has completed Membership classes.
Being a Prayer Chaplain is transformative soul work which deepens your spiritual path. If this program resonates with you and feels like an opportunity you would like to explore further,

Outreach Opportunity
You can make a difference in the life of a homeless family!
Unity of Stuart is a support church of Family Promise
of Martin County, an organization that is dedicated to
ending family homelessness. Find out more about Family
Promise of Martin County on their website HERE and HERE.
You can make a difference by preparing or buying meals and
delivering them to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Stuart
when the need arises.

- There are two zodiac signs that are associated with the month of February. People who are born from January 20 to February 18 are Aquarians, while Pisces are born from February 19 to March 20. Aquarius is an air element whose symbol is the water-bearer. It is represented by a mythical carrying an urn of water, or sometimes, just water flowing. - February’s first birth flower is the violet. Violets are dainty flowers which typically grow to be a few inches tall. Traditionally purple in color, violets can now be found white and yellow as well. The second birth flower of February is the primrose. Primroses are among the first flowers to appear in spring. Usually a creamy yellow in color, they may also be found in pinks and purples.
