Dear BVD Dance Students,

Thank you for a great start to the new year. As announced previously, some things are changing at Buena Vista Dance.

Are you ready?

New and Changed Classes

Monday

TODAY, Monday, 13th February -

Students please be aware that we are now teaching in the bigger room, The Black Studio (red pin in the map above).

From the beginning of Term 3 (6th March 2023), we will also offer Bachata classes in Brookvale on Mondays.

This change will affect the salsa classes as well!

So, the new classes in Brookvale are as follows:

7 - 8 pm: Salsa Beginners and Intermediate - in 2 rooms.

High Intermediate class - The Black studio 9B

Foundations and beginners - The small studio (same studio we used to teach)

8 - 9 pm: Bachata Beginners and intermediate class - The Black studio 9B - so everyone can join in!

Tuesday

Coming Soon!!!

For all intermediate and advanced students, we would like to start Bachata and Rueda Performance Training in March.

The venue is not confirmed yet, so we are just gauging interest for now and will arrange everything. If you are unsure whether performance training is for you, just express your interest anyway, and Moro will assess the levels.

Wednesday

Unfortunately, the Uniting Church will be closed for renovations for the next 4 weeks, so we have to find another venue for the Wednesday night classes until they finish.

We have been in contact with some venues. Keep your eyes on the news. We will send another email when it is confirmed.

If anyone knows any venue in or near Paddington, please contact Moro as soon as possible, so we don’t have to stop dancing

Thursday

Exciting things are happening! From the 16th March, we will expand our class offer and also teach Salsa classes in Camperdown.

7:30 - 8:30 pm: Cuban Salsa (Beginners & Foundation)

8:40 - 9:40 pm: Cuban Salsa (High Intermediate)

9:40 - 10:30 pm Social dancing

Please Note

Unfortunately, due to overall increased prices and interest rates, we have decided to not offer our Early Bird or Loyalty Special for the 8-Class passes any more.

From March onwards all 8-Class passes will cost $160, which still gives you a discount of $5 per class in comparison to casual classes.

All other class prices will remain the same.
