Hey everyone!

Thank you so much to all our high school host homes and adult leaders who served during our Super Bowl Parties last night, and to all those who provided appetizers and desserts!

We are now less than three weeks away and I couldn't be more excited for all that God is going to do throughout this amazing weekend. Students, if you have not yet registered, please go ahead and do so! While registration will not ever close, the more who register early, the better planning and preparing our team can be for you! Parents, please reach out to me or any of our staff if you would like us to connect with your student and encourage their participating in Wonder 2023. Finally, a reminder to all that partial and full scholarships are available for any student in need.

But before we get to Discovery, we still have lots of great programming throughout the weekend and this coming Sunday, so be sure to read through this email in full, including registration for all summer trips that are all open!

- Robert, Youth Pastor.
DISCOVERY WEEKEND! March 3-5, 2023.
Full and Partial Scholarships are also available for any student in need. Simply indicate in the payment section.

Less than three weeks away from WONDER 2023!

Discovery Weekend is a Middle School retreat, hosted and held at Trinity United Methodist Church. At Discovery, your relationship with God is the focus. This is why we worship in new and creative ways that help you examine your life and understand the depth of God’s love. It’s a weekend where you are not only encouraged to be YOU, but where you might find out more than you ever knew about who you REALLY are!

It’s a jam-packed weekend full of games, small groups, incredible worship, funny videos, skits, DJs, great eats, messages from High School Seniors, and so much more. Parents, don’t worry though, this is NOT a lock-in. We want your students to get as much rest during Discovery as possible so that they can fully participate and share in the weekend!

ELEMENT CAFE - This Tuesday and Thursday, 3:00-5:30 PM.

PARENTS - Do you have space in your schedule to volunteer at Element Cafe? Sign up here!

You do not need to be a "Trinity Member" to participate at Element Student Ministry and its cafe. This year, registration for Element Cafe is completely online and can be done prior to students first arrival to Element Cafe. Please go to www.elementstudentministry.com/elementcafe to sign up and learn more!!

Please note - students can enter and participate in Element Cafe unregistered up to 3 times. Life is busy, we get it! Just please fill it out by the 3rd visit, because we don't want to ask you to come pick up your student just as much as you don't want to come pick up your student...

If you have any further questions about Element Cafe, you can contact Rhys Ferguson, Community Director of Element, at rferguson@trinitybirmingham.com

THIS SUNDAY NIGHT:
6-8PM: (It only takes) $5 To Change The World

Parents - We would still love a few more drivers for the night.
Go to the following link to sign up: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/elementdrivers#/

This Sunday night, continuing in our "Get Wisdom" series, we will be "practicing wisdom" with a night we call "$5 to Change The World."

Here's how the night works: Students will arrive here at Element at 6 PM. After dinner and gathering, we will go into the Haven for a short devotional and explanation of the night for students. Once finished, students will break out into vehicles as each student is given $5. Together, each vehicle will pool their $5 together, and with the time remaining (ending at 8 PM) determine how they can make an impact right now in our community. This is always such a memorable and significant night for students (and the parent drivers)! Be sure to join us from 6-8 PM as we learn how to practice wisdom and support our neighbors.
