Shwachman-Diamond Syndrome Alliance

Dear <<First Name>>,

Three years ago, the global SDS patient community came together to launch Global SDS Awareness Week, to raise awareness about the unmet needs of the SDS community, together.

The community picked the third week of April to mark Dr. Harry Shwachman's birthday. Drs. Shwachman and Diamond, along with Dr. Bodian, were instrumental in defining Shwachman-Diamond Syndrome with their landmark publication in the journal Pediatrics in 1964, entitled "The Syndrome of Pancreatic Insufficiency and Bone Marrow Dysfunction".

This year, we are hosting a T-shirt design contest for the occasion! All details on how to submit your design, rules, and guidelines are available at www.sdsalliance.org/shirts. We can’t wait to see you submission!
