VISITOR CENTRE DESIGN WĀNANGA

In our last Hauwhenua I-Pānui, we shared news of the decision to build a new Visitors Centre / Whare to replace the current North Taranaki Visitors Centre.

Understanding the aspirations of our uri to inform the new design is underway. Some of our Te Kotahitanga board members and design team from TOA Architects were fortunate to recently host a number of our Te Atiawa Tōhunga to see their vision and hear their whakaaro for this new building. And last Sunday, a number of uri joined us at Muru Raupatu Marae to meet the project team and share their thoughts on what this whare could look, feel and sound like.

Te Kotahitanga are holding an online wānanga for uri this Thursday night. It is your opportunity to meet the project team and share your thoughts on our new Visitors Centre / Whare for our tupuna Maunga. See our 'upcoming events & updates' for details and links.
