CM「I Came By Train」の製作者。
"Environmental scare tactics have run out of track, there’s little point in making people feel worse about their actions without giving a positive alternative, " says one of the creators of "I Came By Train", the new marketing campaign of UK's Trainline (A digital ticket platform for trains). Taking shape as the latest video clip of a well-known singer, the catchy tune and beautiful animation of traveling through nature makes you forget it's a marketing campaign focusing on environmental issues.
Stories on sustainability can sometimes end up just creating a sense of emergency without solutions. It might be so that conveying messages with humor and cheerfulness, and offering positive alternatives are becoming a much more needed tactic in communication.
On a personal note, here's some cheerful news from us. Our designer H.O., who designs the N Letter every week is getting married. We wish the two of them a long and happy life together, and inform you we will be taking off of sending out the N Letter next week as the entire company will be celebrating the newly weds. Thank you for reading this week's N Letter. We wish you all a great weekend.
