March is here and we are all ready to enjoy some more sunshine! It seems like the old saying, "absence makes the heart grow fonder" is true -- at least when it comes to the weather. But it has been beautiful even if a bit chilly and wet. The sunsets have been gorgeous!

This Sunday please join us as we dig deeper into the study of our own "old" saying 'Change Your Thinking and Change Your Life!'

Is it the truth? Let's find out if you agree... And if you have specific questions, feel free to ask after our talks are done. The door to joyous, creative consciousness is already open.

A Note from Rev. Maurene:

This month, Rev. Kate and I will be discussing the power of thought. Kate will speak from the standpoint of spirituality and Religious Science. I will speak from the standpoint of Quantum theory. Ernest Holmes said on the first page of the Science of Mind textbook that... "We all look forward to the day when science and religion shall walk hand in hand through the visible to the invisible." That time is now!

We look forward to some interesting questions and discussions on how we create our physical reality. String theory says the Universe is vibrating strings, waves of vibration. At the quantum level the observer's consciousness affects a quantum wave and collapses it into particles, which become atoms, molecules, organic compounds and then eventually - sentient life. In Science of Mind we call this quantum action, Creative Consciousness. Join us in exploring the reality that Scientists and Metaphysicians are saying the very same thing!

Note: Quantum Physics is define as the study of matter and energy at the most fundamental level. Quantum theory is the theory of matter and energy based on the smallest possible unit of something, usually energy. Did you know that quantum physics allows for particles to be in two states at the same time? Lasers, MRIs, and advanced computers are some practical results from quantum theory.

The law of Mind teaches us that there is power for good in the Universe. And we can use it to create a better life. Understanding how to use this Law and the principles of Science of Mind will move us in a forward direction and allow inner healing to take place. As we stay focused on the Law and principles with daily practice we are able to move away from negative past experiences and maintain a consciousness of living only in the present. This is where we will be able to see the good in life and be open to all of the blessings awaiting us.

AFFIRMATIVE-PRAYER for PEACE

God dwells at the center of my being. God is peace; this peace enfolds me in its arms now. There is a deep feeling of security, vitality, and strength underlying this peace. This inner sense of peace in which I now dwell is the silent presence of God.

The love and the light of God watch over me, as a loving mother watches over the sleeping child. Deep in my heart is the Holy Presence that is my peace, my strength, and my source of supply. All fear has vanished.

I see God in all people; I see God manifest in all things. I am an instrument of the Divine Presence. I now release this inner peace; it flows through my entire being releasing and dissolving all problems. This is the peace that passes understanding.
