Dear GEM follower,
We would like to invite you to the 2023 GEM Conference: Are we making a difference? The conference will bring leading researchers and risk management experts worldwide to discuss lessons learned from the recent earthquakes in Türkiye and Syria and to launch the new Global Earthquake Hazard and Risk models, maps, and databases. We will explore how risk assessments are being used to influence disaster risk reduction actions and where seismic risk assessments are heading in the broader mission to improve resilience.
The event is taking place in the beautiful city of Bergamo, Italy from June 13th to 14th, 2023. We have attached a flyer for an overview of the conference. More details will be shared in our succeeding communications.
