As winter turns to spring and we look forward to warmer weather, new blooms, and longer days, we want to appreciate the teachers who give so much to ensure our children get the education they deserve. We know the effects of the pandemic are still being felt and continue to add stressors to daily school life and we want our teachers to know how much their community appreciates them.

 It is often said that our children are our future. I think of children as our treasures. Providing children with a good education gives them the resources they need to succeed as adults.
The Hercules Education Foundation (HEF) helps children in Hercules by funding Teacher Grants in our local public schools. The grants we have funded have given dance shoes for dance class, high interest books, podiums at all of the elementary schools for elementary music classes, funding for a garden project, Scholastic News, online learning programs, and much more. HEF has consistently supported every public school in Hercules since 2008!

HEF depends on donations that allow us to fund Teacher Grants. We are grateful to our donors and sponsors, and I encourage everyone to go to our website and make a donation to help us in our mission to help Hercules children. Our popular fundraising event, Bottles and Bites, is on March 26th!

Hi Hercules Education Foundation,
I just wanted to reach out and thank you SO much for the Southwest airline ticket and additional funds to attend a speech therapy conference provided by the Hercules Ed Fund.
I was able to take over 10 professional development courses in my areas of special interest (Autism and AAC). I was also able to talk with several of my speech therapy heroes and former professors in the field.
I have attached a picture with a personal Speech Therapy hero of mine, Jordyn Carroll, who lectures and provides content for working with linguistically and culturally diverse students.
