2:30-4:30pm at Glenaire Retirement Community in Cary, NC
We hope you can join us this Sunday in Cary. We'll be led by Pat Petersen. We are meeting in a new location for TRS, the Glenaire Retirement Community. Hosts at Glenaire are Phill and Elise Stiles. First meeting is free. Meetings are $15 for non-members and all skill levels are welcome.
This year marks the 400th anniversary of the death of William Byrd (c.1540–1623). We will honor his memory by playing 3 of his fantasias and one of his sacred choral works at the TRS meeting on Sunday, March 19. Here are links so you can download and print Peter Siebert’s excellent transcriptions (you will already have received notice of these if you are an ARS member).
We will meet in the Multi-Purpose Room. Enter the main building and look for TRS signs!

It was such a treat to be able to have the Forgotten Clefs in town for their concerts during February and to enjoy a fantastic playing session with Chris. Thank you to Pat & Doug for your hospitality in hosting the session in your home!
As we are coming into Springtime, I hope we will see even more members coming to our sessions and bringing a friend with them! We have enjoyed learning from Pat, Phil, and Jennifer this year and have only a few sessions left of this season!
The April Workshop will have many opportunities for you to develop more skill and enjoy playing with other players from the surrounding areas. I hope you are making your plans to attend that event on April 15th.
Our May session will be an opportunity for members to share performances with each other. If you would like to perform as a soloist or in a group, please come to that session ready to share. After the performances, we will have our short annual meeting. If there is any remaining time, we will read some more music together!
Keep practicing and enjoying making beautiful music this season!

It can also be found online via the PtRM and Music Libraries pages, where there are play-along tracks as well as videos so you can learn the piece on your own.
