LENT AT OUR PARISH SCHOOL
On Ash Wednesday, our students began their Lenten journey.  Students received rice bowls to donate money earned by doing chores or foregoing a treat. Everyone received a prayer stone to put somewhere that would remind them to pray regularly. Fr. Brendan suggested on the desk or perhaps in a shoe for an extra nudge. In our classrooms, students will spend time in Lent preparing for Easter through reflection and prayer. www.stsimon.school

BEYOND SAINT SIMON ...

Cristo Rey San José Jesuit High School (CRSJ) Work Study Program
CRSJ is the only Catholic high school in Silicon Valley focused solely on serving under-represented students, and is looking for Corporate Partners to host their students in Work Study placements.
Members will be speaking at Masses this weekend so you can learn more.

CRSJ offers underserved students from Silicon Valley a rigorous, Jesuit college prep education to assist them in getting into and through college. The majority of our students will be the first in their families to graduate from high school and attend college. Through Cristo Rey's unique work study program, students work one day each week at over 100 Partner organizations, helping to offset as much as 50% of the cost of their education. If the company or organization you work for has an interest in making an impact in their community, please contact:
