The world is filled with crisis. And it seems that there are greater crises than ever before. But there have always been crises. It is because of our modern technology that we are more aware of what is happening in the world around us. The present-day media also tends to sensationalize every story.

Along with the crises in our world, there are ongoing crises in our lives. Life today is growing more and more complex. We are stretched to our limits and it may seem that life is out of control. But our God is a God who calms the storms of life. He provides refuge from all the crises we face.

In this Lenten message series, we will examine the crises of:

- Purpose (February 26)

- Peace (March 5)

- People (March 12)

- Power (March 19)

- Pause (March 26)

If you are feeling aimless, helpless, anxious, tired, or lonely - join us for this compelling series that points us to how Jesus overcomes all the crises we face.

TOM & RANDI FAREWELL

Tom and Randi R. have been long time members of Good Shepherd. They have served well in many different areas of our congregation. Randi even served as our congregation president. We have been blessed by their being part of our Good Shepherd family.

But Tom and Randi will soon be moving to North Carolina. Today, Sunday, February 26, we will host a special reception following worship to celebrate their time with us, say farewell, and wish them God’s blessings in their new chapter in life.
