Attendees can enjoy free pastries from the Buttery and meet in front of the CASFS Farm Village entrance at 2:15pm to walk to the garden as a group.

| Social Justice Issues Colloquium is a 1-unit discussion-based course surrounding different aspects of social justice and critical service learning.
Students will listen to guest speakers from Santa Cruz County and their work surrounding local social justice efforts and movements regarding the housing crisis, environmental justice, and cultural organizing.
This class will allow students to increase their own conceptions and understandings of their identities, and learn effective communication skills through meaningful discussions. |

Enroll in JRLC 125A: Transcommunal Peacemaking This 2-unit course provides a unique opportunity for UCSC students to learn from and collaborate with incarcerated men at Soledad Correctional Training Facility who have dedicated themselves to non-violence and engaging with others across difference.
