Hi <<First Name>>,

How are you doing? Is everything well with your family and church? We hope you are staying safe and healthy and enjoying time with the Lord. We are encouraged by the reports of revival in the US and are jealous to see a move of the Spirit here throughout Asia too!

Below are new prayer requests for Northern Thailand. I'm not adding photos in case you want to print it and keep it handy wherever you tend to pray (one for each day of the week M-F is one idea). Feel free to also print it and ask a friend or shut-in to pray for us too. We would love that.  :)
  • Praise God with us for the meetings we had last week in Bangkok. It was a massive answer to our prayers!
  • Praise God for opening the door for a new ministry Steve is launching with a local pastor.
    • Please pray for God’s direction, timing, protection, and encouragement for those who will work in this ministry. There is already some nervousness and hesitation.
    • Pray that this ministry will take the gospel to those who have never heard and help believers to grow.
  • Please continue to pray for Leon. He is so close! But he is still hesitant. We worry about him because we will be away for almost four months this summer. What if he doesn’t decide to follow Christ before we leave? But also, what will happen if he does accept Christ and then we leave shortly after? Please pray that God will provide a loving and patient church body that will embrace and disciple him in our absence. It is all God!
  • MaeTaeng Children’s Home:
    • The school year will end here in the next 2 weeks. Pray for the six teens that will be graduating from high school this year.
    • This weekend, the staff is planning a Salvation Camp. Think of it like a 3-day summer camp. Will you pray for God’s Spirit to be poured out and that many students will cement their decision to follow Jesus?
    • Pray that we are able to renovate the girls' dorm after the kids go home for summer break. We are still in need of some finances for this project.
  • Pray for our home assignment (April- August):
    • Pray that God will supply everything we need (a car to drive, housing, finances, a prayer team)
    • Please pray that we reconnect and strengthen relationships with family and friends.
    • Pray that God will give us the words He wants us to share with those we meet with during home assignment. We want to be relevant, an encouragement, and to bring glory to God as we share.
Thank you so much for continuing to pray for us. I feel like I say this every time, but it’s absolutely true: this is your ministry as much as it is ours. We cannot do anything (nor do we want to) without your prayers going behind and before us. Our battle is not with flesh and blood. And the work is done through prayer.

We also don’t want our relationship with you to be one-sided. We'd love to hear how you are doing and how we can be praying for you.

God bless,
Steve and Rebecca
