For more than a year we have been intensely occupied with publishing and promoting the Aham Sphurana book with Sri Ramana Maharshi`s profound teachings and a new glimpse of his personal day-to-day life at fifty-six, in his middle age.
We were very happy and excited to bring this new jewel to Arunachala in January and from there we brought back a wide selection of books about Bhagavan, many of which are not available in the West. Have a closer look at these books at the Open Sky Press Website and pick your choice!
We cherish Creativity and Artistic Expression from a Space of Silence which can touch you deeply. We cordially invite you this new fantastic exhibition. The Vernissage will be on Sunday, 26th March. At 12 noon the exhibition will be opened by galerist Sandra Wenderhold and curator John David. The artists will be present and look forward to meeting you and answering your questions.
Wonders of Planet Earth
Two of our new artists depict wonders of the earth in original ways you might never have seen before: unknown, majestic, raw and powerful landscape formations.
The photographer Bernhard Edmaier travels to remote places where he captures stunning aerial photos from a helicopter.
The painter Carsten Westphal journeys deeply into deserts where the all-pervading silence and vastness inspires his creations.
Both artists immerse themselves completely in nature. As a result its hard to even tell the difference between the photos and paintings. It opens up the feeling that these expressions do not come only from the personal, but from a deeper place which is intrinsically the same source as from which those landscapes themselves were created.

At the moment we are busy all around the property: in the garden, the kitchen, the guesthouse and on the construction site.
Joining in as a volunteer is a great opportunity to contribute with any skills and interests you have. This will give you a taste of a deeper connected way of living in a calm and beautiful atmosphere.
