The League Board of Directors seeks your recommendations for prospective candidates for our annual awards. The Virginia Credit Union League Board will name the winners of this year’s James P. Kirsch Lifetime Achievement Award and Eugene H. Farley Jr. Award of Excellence at the Annual Meeting in Williamsburg on May 25, 2023.
Compromise eluded the legislature on the state budget and Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s bid for $1 billion in tax cuts. The House and Senate adjourned the 46-day session just after 5 p.m. Saturday. Now most lawmakers will focus on the coming legislative elections while senior budget negotiators try to finish a budget deal.
