2021-22 Annual Report

Heritage Saskatchewan held our Annual General Meeting on Thursday, February 23, 2023, via Zoom. Check out our 2021-22 Annual Report! Also available are Annual Reports from past years.

2022-23 Board

At our Annual General Meeting, Heritage Saskatchewan acclaimed our new Board of Directors for 2022-23. Check out the new faces and bios! Welcome to new Directors: Bailey Pelletier, Paige Hundt, and Jennifer Fitzpatrick! Welcome back to Tim Panas for a second term! Thank you as well to our outgoing Board members (Tomasin Playford, Amanda Tobin, and Brooke Laliberte-Pewapsconias) for your contributions!
At the Board meeting following the AGM, Erin Folk was elected President and Ian Worme was elected Vice President for the 2022-23 year. At that time, Emma Morris assumed the role of Past President.

Project Submission Opening Soon!
Our Heritage Fairs and High School Heritage Challenge now have their own website. It should be ready for launch in mid March, at which time it can accept new submissions for the Virtual Heritage Fair and High School Heritage Challenge!

Project Submission Deadline
April 24 (last Monday in April) - deadline to submit projects to the Virtual Heritage Fair and High School Heritage Challenge
Everyone in grades 4-12 is eligible to participate! No advance registration is necessary and no whole-class participation is required.
All schools participating in the Moose Jaw Regional Heritage Fair have been contacted about registration deadlines specific to that event.
New Living Heritage E-Book Publication!
In partnership with the University of Regina's Living Heritage Research Cluster, Heritage Saskatchewan produced Living Heritage in Saskatchewan: Twelve Recent Projects. Written by Sarah Hoag and edited by Kristin Catherwood & Dr. Jérôme Melançon, this publication can be read at https://opentextbooks.uregina.ca/livingheritageinsk/.
