To the Burr Ridge Community,
We are all ready for spring to arrive at Burr Ridge! While March ushers in warmer temperatures, it also allows us an opportunity to celebrate Women's History Month! A time to recognize female trailblazers who have helped shape our history. In the same spirit of gratitude and celebration, I would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to our Village of Burr Ridge staff, seeing as today is Employee Appreciation Day. They work tremendously hard to serve our community day in and day out! I saw it firsthand when our expert Public Works staff rapidly replaced a multi-broken water main in my neighborhood last month.
I would also like to recognize our Village staff for diligently preparing the draft Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 2024. The draft budget is now available here. I invite you to review the draft budget and join us for a public discussion at the March 13th Board Meeting at 6:00 p.m. On behalf of the staff and Board of Trustees, we appreciate your participation! We remain a debt-free village, a rare status in today's Illinois.
The Secretary of State Mobile Drivers Unit returns to Village Hall on Wednesday, March 22nd, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Remember that services are limited and do not include written or driving tests, nor can you obtain a real ID at this event. You can learn more here.
I continue to celebrate all of the good things in store for the Village and am thankful for your support!
Sincerely,
|
