Hear from local climate leaders working on sustainable agriculture, coastal resilience, land protection and carbon sequestration, citizen science, and actions you and your family can take now to cut emissions, save money and prepare for climate change. Find out how you can turn your concern and fear about climate change into action and hope for all of us.
Opening speaker: John Laird will report on the UN Climate Change Conference (COP) in Egypt, and climate-related State legislation.

The build site is in the Live Oak neighborhood of Santa Cruz, where we are building 11 homes for local families. Build days will be Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. Volunteer shifts will be available for sign up started on Feb 20.

As a door slams in 1879 Norway, a young wife and mother leaves behind her family, freeing herself from the shackles of traditional societal constraints. Now, 15 years later, that same door opens to reveal Nora, a changed woman with an incredibly awkward favor to ask the people whom she abandoned.
Our Nonprofit Members believe in the power of collaboration and resource sharing to strengthen everyone’s ability to meet the challenges of providing excellent programs and services to our community. Membership dues will be increasing July 1, 2023.
