It is with great sadness that the Pastor and Board of Trustees of St. Illuminator's Cathedral announce the passing of Norair Nicolas Asadourian, a faithful and lifelong parishioner of St. Illuminator's Cathedral.
Norair Nicolas died on Monday, February 27, 2023. He is survived by his wife Alice Asadourian, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Mr. & Mrs. Edward and Greta Hovnanian, cousin Dr. Sorin Bedrosian and his son Daniel Bedrosian, godchildren Dr. Elise Kochoumian-Artim and Mr. Gregory Kochoumian.
The viewing and wake service will be held on Wednesday, March 1, from 6:00 - 9:00 pm (service at 8:00 pm) at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, 43-07 Queens Blvd., Sunnyside, New York.
The funeral service will take place on Thursday, March 2, at 10:00 am at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, and the interment service, at Cedar Grove Cemetery, 130-04 Horace Harding Expressway, Flushing, New York.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers donations be made to St. Illuminator’s Armenian Apostolic Cathedral, 221 East 27th Street, New York, New York 10016, by check or by clicking here, or American Cancer Society.
