Featured Activities

Here are our top activity pics for the Easter holidays:
An Egg - cellent Adventure

These Easter holidays come join us, overlooking the Swan River, Bardon Park in the City of Bayswater for an Egg-cellent adventure.

We will take you on an adventure around the parks wetlands where we will go on a scavenger hunt and learn about the different types of eggs and nests that animals make. Join us in some fun games and make a sustainable nest to take home and use as a drinking station for wildlife in your garden.

For ages 4-7 years this activity is held at Bardon Park on Tuesday 11th of April 9.30am-11am.
Tickets can be purchased for $8 online.
Marine Ranger

Become a marine ranger for the day when you join us in Shoalwater Islands Marine Park-the home of Penguin Island. You will travel across to Penguin Island on a ferry, meet a marine park ranger and see what their daily jobs entail, conduct a nesting shore bird survey, discover the effects of pollution on marine animals and enjoy an exclusive penguin feeding tour. Once this jam-packed day is over, we will jump on the ferry back to mainland. Successful completion rewards you, your marine ranger qualification at the end of the day.

The ticket cost for this activity includes transport on the ferry to and from Penguin Island.

This activity is suitable for children 7-12 years of age. Tickets $35.00 online.

Dolphin Discovery

Did you know we have 24 resident dolphins living in the river all year round? Come along to Dolphin Discovery and get to know the dolphins that call the Swan Canning Riverpark home. Listen to the sounds dolphins make and learn how their bodies help them swim, jump and catch food, then play a game to show us your best dolphin impression! Have a go at identifying the Swan River dolphins using our FinBook guide, and then come for a walk along the Point Walter foreshore to see if you can spot them. Discover some of the things that can hurt our dolphins and what we can all do to keep them safe. Finish the morning by decorating your dolphin craft.

This activity is suitable for children 3-6 years of age. Tickets $5 online.
