Sunday School for  Students in kindergarten through 5th grade will be dismissed during the service to the children's ministry area. Preschoolers may be checked in at the Connection Counter and dropped off at the preschool room prior to the start of the service.

Preschool Worship - If your child is participating in preschool(ages 3+), please check them in at the Connection Counter on the main floor and walk them downstairs prior to the service.
This Sunday is week 4 of a 12-part evening series entitled Christian Sexuality. Join us from 5-5:45 pm in the sanctuary, during our usual C3 time slot, for teaching videos and discussion times that will speak candidly to many of the challenges we face in our rapidly changing society. Please note that the material is best suited for high school and up.  To facilitate the attendance of younger families we are also providing activities in the gymnasium (with adult supervision) for elementary and middle school age children.

The dates for this special evening series are as follows:
   Mar. 5, 19, 26
   Apr. 16, 23, 30
   May 7, 14
Several years ago, our church family expanded the Christian Education Ministry.  Year after year God continues to bless us through pledges from our congregation.  We are happy that we have had another successful year, which resulted in helping many of our church families with the task of paying for Christian education.

Once again this year we ask that you will prayerfully consider your involvement.  This ministry is supported by our church family and their generous giving and you have blessed so many children and families!  On Sunday, March 12 the congregation will have the opportunity to make a pledge for the upcoming school year.  We are happy to report that we have made our goal each year for this ministry!

This is also the day that our church families can also apply for assistance for Christian education.  Families must reapply each year if they are asking for support. The deadline is April 2.

This ministry is comprised of two support types; one type is for larger assistance through CSA (Christian School Assistance) where families apply and must provide financial statements for this assistance.  The other is CEM (Christian Education Ministry) where any family can sign up for assistance each year.  We also have many families that do not need assistance of any form and are not part of either program.

Please drop your pledge card in the offering plate or turn it into the box by the information booth.  Thank you in advance for your participation.

Praise & Thanks

  • A note from Jeanne Post and Mike, Theresa, Matt and Josh Post ~ We are so grateful for the outpouring of love and support during the hospitalization and passing of our husband, dad, and grandpa, Al Post.  Thanks to Pastor Scott and Pastor Merle for all your calls, visits, and deep care during this difficult time.  We appreciate all the cards and many prayers that were sent on our behalf.  We are so thankful for our Caledonia CRC family!

Prayer Requests

  • Betty De Haan has been diagnosed with Glioblastoma (brain cancer). She has chosen not to go through treatment as it is inoperable and fast growing. Pray for continued peace and grace for Betty as she continues to deal with the progressive nature of her cancer. Please pray for her family as well, as they walk her through this process.
  • Please continue to pray for Preslie Vander Wal in  Hawaii, Cara Berghuis in the Philippines and  Alaina Schuitema in Zambia, Africa. They are memebers from our congregation serving on short term mission trips.
Faith Promise Missions ~ Kyle and Marcia Post work with Cru (Campus Crusade For Christ) on College campuses in the Louisville, Kentucky area. In 2022, Cru ministries across the globe shared the gospel 99, 362,420 times leading to over 3,515, 478 new believers. Click here to read the attached link for more of their story.

We are honored to welcome The King’s Choraliers to our church on Sunday, March 12 for a special concert at 5 pm.

The Choraliers, united by a common desire to share their love for Jesus Christ through song, frequently present their message in churches, schools, and prisons. They feature a repertoire of spirituals, anthems, and hymns sung in a variety of styles ranging from classical to contemporary. A free-will offering will be taken at the concert.

High School Students going to Costa Rica this summer are selling coffee, beverages, and snacks to support their trip. If a student doesn't reach out to you, but you'd still like to support them, click here for a order form.  We are extending this fundraiser! Orders are now due March 9!!
Do you have a heart for hospitality, a warm & welcoming spirit?

We need you to join the Visitor Champion Team! Visitor Champions serve once every 6-8 weeks on Sunday mornings, welcoming visitors and being a friendly face at the Connection Counter. This is a tangible way to show God's love to our guests at Caledonia CRC.
