What's Growing On?!
Spring is (almost) in bloom! Here's what we got growing on

Compost Update!
Our compost bins are working hard through all this rain! We have had to add lots of cardboard to counter the moisture from so much rain, but they are still staying hot. Our bin 1 is nearly ready to start curing as it begins to drop towards 100 degrees. Bin 2 which we started about 3 weeks ago is starting to accumulate enough volume to generate heat and is currently fluctuating around 145 degrees. Thank you to everyone who drops off their food scraps at the window!

On March 22nd we will be making terrariums at the SJSU Garden! They are going to be influenced by the Vietnamese art form “Hòn non bộ”. Hòn (island) non (Mountain) bộ (set) encapsulates an environment by recreating it as a smaller piece of art. So at this event we will be making terrariums inspired by the environment we or our ancestors grew up in. There will also be tea, in which you can add your own flavors to! I hope you join us for this relaxing afternoon of crafting
PLEASE SIGN UP WITH THE QR CODE ON THE FLYER AS THIS IS AN EVENT WITH LIMITED SUPPLIES
