So yeah, I want to apologize to anyone who visited Zolocon to see us. The US border guy was not a fan of Mego figures or Canadians, a sweet guy, with great hugs, and definitely getting the Christmas letter this year.

I will be setting up at Canadian Toy Con just outside of Toronto this weekend in Oakville; I'm hoping to see some folks from the community and have confirmation that about a half dozen Museum folks will be there. I'll be cleaning out my store room and really bringing some oddball stuff.  Show Info here.

A few things I want to address:
  • So, I want to bring back MegoHead of the Month; everyone I ask is busy. So if you'd like to do a profile on the Museum, hit me up here. Just looking for photos of your collection and some very easy-to-answer questions.
  • CustoMego: I recently got a terse note about customs in the newsletter. It was full of accusations, and I really don't know what to say except that I try my best to pick out fun ones. I'm trying to build a sense of community here, and if you feel passed over, you can email me. This whole thing is a passion project, trust me on that one, and the go-forward goal is just to be positive, nothing more. So I really hope the next person who feels slighted will ask before assuming.
  • Mego Meet: Last call for table space, I've got one or two openings, and then we're done. The Mego Area of this year's event will be a real banger!
Have a great weekend, stay warm and play with your toys.

It's the first #MMFTCNEWS update of March, and how appropriate is it that the news is about a famous US General and President who will be marching into stock at Figures Toy Company in May! The latest addition to FTC's Presidential Series is Ulysses S. Grant!

As both President and as the General who led the Union to victory in the Civil War, Grant is one of the most notable figures in United States history. Historians and collectors alike will love FTC's action figure rendition of the famed war hero, which will be created in the traditional 8 inch retro style with soft goods attire.

Figures Toy Company's spring shipments will be here before you know it, and they'll include new figures from your favorite retro series, as well as restocks on old favorites such as The Three Stooges "Dizzy Doctors" figures! Check out http://www.figurestoycompany.com for 100's of items that you can order right now from licenses like DC Comics, Hanna Barbera, and KISS, and make sure you follow FTC's social media pages for frequent updates on everything they have to offer!

Power-Con is handling all finances for this round of MegoMeet.

This is the only way to get a Dealer Table in the Mego Section.
